An existing 1960's system built school has been doubled in size to create additional facilities for the school and local community.

Utilising a steel frame as an echo of the original buildings structure the elevations are clad in storey height slate grey cement board panels which create both a monolithic and protective aspect to the scheme

Large glazed units offer both extensive natural daylight and ventilation and make reference to an adjacent building built during the same period as the original school.

The project was completed by Andrew Budd at ASL.
